Supported living accommodation
The home will provide accommodation, care and support for four adults who have learning disabilities, autism, special needs, and mental health issues. Our programme will include specialist tutoring, counselling and psychotherapy. We specialise in intensive rehabilitation to support and guide our residents along the care pathway to lower supported living and a second chance at a normal life through reintegration into the community. The residents are not locked in and are encouraged to integrate into the community, although staff monitor and record all residents’ movements. Staff also check identity of all visitors to the home and visitors are required to sign in. The service does not provide any medical services, all residents make use of local GP and may use the service of a psychiatrist, psychologist and other professionals in the local area.
Staffing: All staff are suitably qualified. There are staff onsite 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to support the residents in
their every-day living skills and integration into the community. The home will use method of recovery that focuses on self-care, cleanliness, cooking,
shopping, budgeting and skills to use local services, activities and transport safely. Residents will likely be referred from the Borough of Greenwich or other local authority. The home will regular planned activities for residents like shopping trips, going to the gym, cinema, theatre, holidays, horse riding, art classes and many more. Through this we encourage the residents to build up an essential network of friends and social support. We also actively facilitate residents to support their local community through volunteering and eventually paid jobs.
